How is the order settled

How long does it take to settle a transaction? For public equities, orders received before 2 PM EST will be settled on the same day. Orders received after 2 PM EST will be settled on the next business day.

Orders are executed based on the price realized by the broker.

What happens if the underlying asset's price changes during my transaction? For public equities, the final price per share is determined by the transaction price at the time of execution, meaning the number of shares purchased may differ from the estimate displayed when placing the order.

For private equity, the price is predetermined as listed, so there is no fluctuation during the transaction.
